Guantanamo Suicide Victims to be Disciplined

So now we know. We’ve been waiting over four years for any evidence that any of the people held illegally at Guantanamo Bay are guilty of anything at all, and now three of them have shown their true colours by committing suicide, which is not only illegal, but may also have infringed the human rights of the guards who found their bodies. Let us hope that counselling will be provided for these unfortunates (the guards, that is).

Some namby-pamby liberals have suggested that being held without charge, representation or access to even the very basic human rights required under the Geneva Convention, for more than four years, just might have become a little irksome for the men.
However, camp commander Rear Admiral Harris said he did not believe the men had killed themselves out of despair. "They are smart. They are creative, they are committed," he said. "They have no regard for life, either ours or their own. I believe this was not an act of desperation, but an act of asymmetrical warfare waged against us”
So that’s that cleared up then. The pinko vegetarian liberals with their fancy ways and their endless supply of tofu-based recipes, who have been suggesting that the USA should attempt to behave like an advanced nation rather than some mediaeval dictatorship, should hang their heads in shame.
We say: go for it, Rear Admiral Harris. You’re a military man – take these bastards on at their own game. Top yourself in a public display of “asymmetric warfare”, and show the world what you’re made of.
